Our roving outreach is currently doing really well we are helping on average 140 people experiencing homelessness every Sunday morning. We have seen a new lot of faces coming to us for help as well as our regulars which is quite concerning.
We have also been working with other organisations such as homelessness we care who deliver fresh food on Tuesday evenings. Another organisation street friends who hand out clothing and also fresh meals on a Thursday evening. In working together we have found that we are better equipped and better resourced to help those people experiencing homelessness. These relationships that have developed are a great step forward in helping those In need.
Just this month we started our handing out of the jackets we purchased from our winter appeal. They were very welcomed by our most vulnerable rough sleepers. In these uncertain times it is encouraging that we are able to still do what we do and with the ongoing support of the community and organisations wrapping around continue long into the future.
